This brand new contract role is for a mid-level software architect based in Dublin city centre. It's duration is for an initial six months, although highly likely it will run longer.

Because this is a new project, and you will essentially design the software in line with best practice and methodology, you can expect a technically exciting time here.

The contract consultant will have demonstrable experience in a similar, successful role and will have a skillset with the following technologies and systems.
Oracle
Tuxedo
MQ Websphere
WAS (Websphere Application Server)
XML
Payments in particular ISO/MT
Java
OOAD (Object Oriented analysis and design)
[b][red] Responsibilities[/red][/b]
Working alongside the lead architect, the contract consultant will take the responsibility for defining and agreeing the Systems, Data and Technical architecture to meet the business solution.
[b][red] Other responsibilities [/red][/b]
The physical data modelling as well as data integrity and design,
Assists in the provision of resourcing and cost estimates for development work
Deal with business line managers and other business stakeholders within business area to agree solutions, and project and service delivery.
Operate under broad direction from the architecure team from an architecture decision and policy perspective, and to draft and apply architecture principles, policies, standards and guidelines, and to support the development of solution business cases.
