Software Application Support Manager, Co Clare
We are a world leading finance services group, with offices worldwide, and right now we have an immediate requirement for a Software Application Support Manager for a fixed term maternity leave contract (circa 9 months).
Role:
To manage the efficient and cost effective delivery of application support to meet business requirements and agreed SLA's. Responsible for the support of one or more critical technology applications, platforms & processes, including:
• Middleware
• Imaging & Workflow (FileNet)
• Web (GMS and ePro)
• Application Printing
• Salesforce.
• Manages team of direct reports who support those applications/processes on an ongoing basis
• Ensures support SLA's and ITRs are adhered to and continuously looks for improvements
• Manages, prioritizes & escalates multiple competing requests
• Partners with the business to effectively prioritize development activities within resource constraints

Candidate profile:
The successful candidate will have previous software management experience (minimum 5+ years in software applications support management) with a solid track record in SLA development and delivery. You will have a deep knowledge of hardware architecture, operating systems and platform interaction with IT environment with excellent awareness of data and database concepts and query languages, data structure, and different database types (e.g. relational, hierarchy), coupled with an awareness of information security concepts (i.e. security threats, vulnerabilities, and various security levels). You should have a strong technical background in at least one of the following key software applications: middleware, Imaging & Workflow (FileNet), or CRM (Salesforce).
