Role Description

The role will involve participation in the design, development and testing of solutions that utilise all aspects of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007), including enterprise search, portals, collaboration, Excel Services and Workflows. You will be joining a small SharePoint team, on a city centre based client site, where you will be expected to hit the ground running on new and existing projects.

Role Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the requirement analysis, design, development, deployment and testing of software solutions and components based on MOSS 2007
• Participate in planning and estimation
• Interacting with customers to ensure that their requirements are delivered on time and within scope
• Development and implementation of best practices, policies and standards
• Support and enhance existing applications
• Production of technical documentation

Essential Skills:
• Minimum of 2 years' proven experience of developing solutions on MOSS 2007
• At least 3 years .NET 2.0/3.0 experience of the following: – C#, ASP.NET
• Technical Skills Needed – SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005 / 2008, Java Script, Ajax, XSLT, Excel Services, SharePoint Designer, OO Design, Windows Workflow Foundation (WF)
• Excellent user interface design skills
• Full lifecycle experience designing, developing & testing implementations of document management and collaboration solutions based on MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0

Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge of accessing SAP BAPI’s using the SAP .Net Connector;
• Working knowledge of SharePoint 2003;
• Good understanding of Prince II and/or MS Project Server

Education requirement:
IT-related Degree preferred
