Service Manager
A new opportunity has opened up, for a Service Manager for a key contractual financial services account in Shannon, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and maintaining remote service desk management globally as well as server support services.
Previous experience of managing significant outsourced services within global desktop support, preferably in the Financial Services sector, is essential.
Responsibilities:
Holding regular service reviews with customers
Providing performance statistics and reporting to the customer
Responsible for the day-to-day contract mechanics
Ownership of contracted Technology, service and commercial innovation and resourcing of appropriate project teams to delivery
Responsible for spotting and maximising opportunities and offering innovative solutions, via technology, process or commercial changes.
First line leadership of all direct reports and virtual team members within ISPs.
Manage all direct reports and virtual team members
Provide Performance Management of all direct reports and provide feedback for Performance Management of virtual team members
Providing coaching and support to all staff whether team members or virtual members
Responsible for running detailed day-to-day contract mechanics, management of change – variations to contract, indexation etc
Skills Required:
Experience in a Service Management position in the IT Industry (preferably in financial services)
Demonstrable experienced in desktop outsourcing (preferably global)
A strong working knowledge of ITIL
Proven experience in contract and commercial management
Experience of leading and management of direct and virtual teams
