[b]Server Support Team Lead (UK / Remote)[/b]
A Server Support Team Lead is required for my well known multinational Client based in the UK (Telford & Reading). This is a “hands on” technical role but also includes the day to day management of a small team (6 people). The team will provide phone based Server Hardware problem diagnosis and support to field engineers, globally.
This role will suit someone who wants to work from home and can be available to cover 24*7 shift rotations (12 hours shifts 4 days on, 4 days off) A full home office kit will be provided. If you rather work form an office there are 2 office locations in UK also available. This is an initial 12 month contract with a view to permanency thereafter.
  
[b]Requirements[/b]
• 3+ years' experience working in an advance support environment (2nd Line / Field Engineer)
• Proven leadership and management experience in skills, regarding managing a small team (up to 5 people) on a daily basis
• Excellent fault diagnosis record, preferably in a support desk role or a field service role
• Excellent communication skills
• Be available for 24*7 shift rotations
• The team provides support across Dell, IBM and Sun hardware, so a specialism in any of these servers is required
• Must has strong experience in some of the following
o        Wintel (IBM xSeries, Dell, HP Proliant)
o        Servers (Sun /Oracle& IBM power)
o        Disk & Tape Storage solutions (Sun, STK, IBM)
