Applications are invited for the above post in the School of Engineering at University College Cork. This is a seven year, fixed term, wholetime post.

The School of Engineering includes the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering and Process & Chemical Engineering. The Senior Technical Officer position is based within the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering.

Reporting to the Head of School (or her/his nominee), the person appointed will be expected to build on and develop existing technical laboratory services for the School and adopt a lead role in the preparation and delivery of undergraduate laboratory classes. Key duties will also involve supporting research activities of academic staff.

Salary (new entrants): Within the range €52,235 – €61,609 per annum. In all instances the successful appointment will be at the first point of the scale.
