Our client is the Software Development Centre of a major employer in the West of Ireland.
Due to continued growth, this company now wishes to engage a “Senior Systems Analyst” for a 6 Month Contract (with real possibility of extension).

Suitable candidate will have very strong Technical and Analytical skills coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills.

For the duration of the contract, the Senior Systems Analyst will act as the lead analyst with responsibility for driving forward a complex Data Integration project with the additional pressure of a time sensitive delivery date.

This role will only suit a Strong /Determined Systems Analyst with leadership strengths coupled with a “can do” attitude.

[b]Duties and Responsibilities:[/b]

• Take ownership of project including technical systems documents with the ultimate responsibility of delivering complete, detailed and thorough systems requirements and designs.
• Working closely with Developers, prepare detailed systems design specifications
• Coordinate project and release testing
• Make recommendations on procedures to solve complex business problems considering system limitations and project team capacity
• Gather sign-off from stakeholders on the systems requirements and design, manage changes to the requirements, and keep systems requirements and design up to date through project completion.

[b]Requirements:[/b]

• 5+ years of systems analysis experience within the Software or IT field
• Experience in data analysis, data modeling, data mapping techniques, analysis of diverse and disparate datasets
• SQL expertise
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate technical and business requirements to technical and non/technical teams
• Ability to work with both business customers and highly technical team members
• Ability to work effectively in a global team distributed across geographic locations
• Communicate status, issues and risks effectively
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
• Experience working on batch system development projects
• Experience working on web application development projects
• Experience running queries on the Oracle database
• Understanding of the HR domain is a plus
• Exposure to any of the following technologies is a plus: IBM ILOG JRules, Java/JEE, Informatica, BMC Control-M, Linux.

This is a challenging role, and one that will require a Senior Systems Analyst with excellent technical and analytical skills as well as someone with the ability to lead a project and deliver results within a given time frame.
