Senior Support Engineer €50-60K

My client is a multinational company looking for a highly qualified support engineer with 5 years’ experience in the role. Candidates will be required to possess a relevant 3rd level qualification but would be considered if they can show examples of an alternative accreditation or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

* Troubleshooting any performance issues with the hardware and the software installed on it as well as working extensively with customers to find solutions to their inquiries.
* Working with development teams to fix system issues and preparing reports.
* The role will also involve performing first and second line support.

Skill and Experience Required

* Installation and troubleshooting of Linux and Red Hat operating systems.
* Experience troubleshooting any networking issues as well as performing SNMP/SMTP server integration.
* Knowledge or previous experience of Telecommunication Architecture.
* Python, bash or Perl scripting is highly desirable.
* Experience with packet analysis tools is essential.
