Senior Software Developer – Contract (ASP.Net C#)

Our client is a leading Financial services company who are part of one the one the largest banks in Europe. A key department within their I.T division is based here in Belfast and have immediate requirements for two Software Developers to join their exisitng team on a 3 month contract and possibly leading to a permanent contract after that.  

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

3 years experience in software development in a Microsoft environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
 
Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
Knowledge of established programming procedures and programming languages.
Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications.
Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware and/or software solutions.
Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications.
Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
Ability to communicate with and interpret the operational requirements of end users.
Experience of working as part of a development team.
Knowledge of databases such as SQL server
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Essential: ASP Visual Studio .Net (Visual Basic .Net, ASP.Net) 2003 or 2005
Desirable: HTML, JavaScript, Ajax
