[b]Description:[/b]

Right now there is an opportunity for an experienced .NET Software Engineer within the software development centre of a leading International company based in Galway (West of Ireland).

The .NET Software Engineer will join a team of professionals working on the development of a cutting edge Order Management System.

The team in Galway is responsible for delivering a number of key platforms, products and services which will be rolled out globally across a number of International sites.

[b]Duties & Responsibilities:[/b]

* Design, develop and test code to meet application requirements.
* Participate in architectural design review.
* Comply with agreed architectural and coding standards.
* Responsible for supporting implementation and post-installation testing and of fixing any problems.
* Understand and follow approved project methodology for delivery of project efforts.
* Accurate daily status reporting with ScrumMaster.

[b]Qualifications:[/b]

* 5+ years experience as a Software Developer.
* BS or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or Mathematics.
* Strong expertise with the .NET programming language – MCP Microsoft Certified Professional or higher.
* Software development experience and associated development languages, platforms, platform utilities and tools to include:

[b]Additional skills desired, but not mandatory:[/b]

* Agile development experience
* Specific technologies: Unity, Prism, PL/SQL, HTML, XML, XAML, ClickOn
* SQL Development Tools such as TOAD or SQL Developer
* Experience using middleware and integration technologies such as SOAP (over XML/HTTP), SOA.
