Senior Java Engineer 8 + years’ experience

Red Chair Recruitment is looking for a Senior Java Engineer to work within our client’s technical delivery team in Cork City.
Daily Checks:
- Analysis, design, implementation and support of JEE based applications
- Produce high quality, clean and efficient code adhering to agreed standards
- Mentor and coach junior team members
- Team member delivering user stories within product sprints
- Technical troubleshooting and problem solving
- Prepare and approve technical documentation
What you will need:
- At least 8 years Java / JEE development experience
- Strong architecture and design experience
- Experience in high transaction, low latency systems
- Experience working with Microservice Architectures
- Strong database design and implementation experience
- Experience of working within an agile development framework – SCRUM
- Strong UNIX knowledge
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
