My client is a leader in the betting and gaming sector. With 2,400 employees worldwide they are one of the fastest growing, innovative and dynamic companies in their area. Due to their success they are a cash rich corporation, and recognise technology as a critical element to accelerating future growth.
They now have an opening for a Senior Java Developer in their offices in London. Successful candidates will report to the Software Development Manager and be responsible for designing, developing and delivering innovative software as part of a high performing Agile development team. As my client operates in a fast paced environment candidates will need to be technically strong in the following; Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, AJAX, JBoss. You will also have to be comfortable working independently or in a team in a role which requires performing under pressure.
[b]Experience Required[/b]
A) A proven track record of developing large scale, low latency, high transactional and secure business critical systems, preferably in a financial services or betting environment. B) Full product lifecycle experience with proven successful delivery of a product.
C) 8+ years of experience and technical excellence in J2EE development, including Seam, Hibernate, JSF, EJB3, AJAX, JSP, Spring, Struts and JDBC.
D) Previously worked as key member of Agile teams -Passionate about solving complex business problems in a very fast-paced environment.
E) JBoss, Subversion, CVS, JUnit, TestNG, PowerMock, Eclipse, Ivy, Python, Perl.
G) UI Design, Front End Web Development, Concurrent Applications or Unix OS would all be advantageous.
H) 2.1 or higher in a related discipline from a top tier academic institution; Masters a plus.
