senior IT security/ IT risk consultant

I.T Alliance, an IT services provider, are looking to recruit a senior IT security/IT risk consultant for a managed service site in South Dublin

The Candidate
An experienced candidate is required to provide consultancy/advice in Enterprise Risk Management to our clients under the direction of the Head of Consultancy in the following areas – Information Security Governance, Risk Identification, Management, Analysis, Audit, Pen Testing, Risk Assessments etc. Business Continuity Planning, ISO27001 and PCI / DSS Consultancy. The role involves working closely with the other consultants in the service division and to provide training and pre-sales to clients.
A mature, experienced candidate capable of working on his or her own initiative.
§ A third level qualification is essential in a related field with some further Information security education and /or
§ Either CLAS, CHECK, CISSP, ISO Lead auditor, CISA, CISM, CoBit or ITIL qualification would be considered an advantage.
Candidates should be proactive, have the ability to take ownership, have a “can do” approach, have a goal of building customer value and can react quickly and with a sense of urgency to requests, issues, emails or other events in a timely and flexible fashion and have the ability and understanding to provide pre-sales technical support as and when required.
