Senior IT Architects – Dublin

Midas Technologies is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified Senior IT Architects.

Role Description

•Responsible for the strategic management and development of the company’s key IT assets both external Network as well as Internal communications.

• Perform analytical, technical, cost analysis and development work in the planning, design, installation and on-going administration and management of the organisation’s Communications networks.

•Ensures the integrity and security of global IT systems and services.

•Responsible for the design, build and delivery of technology solutions to meet global business requirements.

• Ensure that IT infrastructure is fully documented and performing as required for internal and customer specifications by means of specific metrics and measurements.

•Overall responsibility for IT services including sustaining operational stability of systems.

•Internal engagement with stakeholders to develop plans for both strategic and near-term IT solutions.

Requirements

•MSc in Computer Science or Network Engineering with five + years’ telco or IT experience.

•Qualified knowledge of network protocols/services and network infrastructures.

• Superior knowledge, skills and experience of industry leading technologies in your chosen field such as Cisco and Microsoft

• Strong experience in a shared service environment as well as vendor management

•Strong verbal and written communication skills to develop and present technical documentation.
•Highly developed project delivery experience, planning and delivery including using PM methodologies.
•Strong team management experience according to relevant discipline such as Agile.

•Relevant technical accreditations in your chosen discipline

• Good understanding of ITIL and ISO Standards for IT Services

• TOGAF accreditation or experience an advantage
