5 years Debian Linux Admin experience, Cacti custom monitoring, Nagios, MySQL and an understanding of LAN / WAN / VPN. Must have experience in a 24/7, 365, high-availability and large scale production support. On-line gaming based in Dublin South.
My client requires highly skilled and experienced Senior Debian Linux Admin people to work in their Production Engineering Team.
Duties:
• Configure and support electronic mailing lists
• Implementation of BIND and DNS technologies
• Deployment and administration of complex MySQL installations
• Implementation and maintenance of Apache configurations
Skills and Experience:
• Expert in Debian Linux administration (5 years)
• In-depth knowledge of Cacti and Nagios technologies is a must
• Expert-level in at least one of the following languages is a must: BASH, PHP, Perl, C (and derivatives)
• MySQL
• Understanding of LAN/WAN/VPN topologies a must
