We are currently recruiting for a Business Systems Manager for a large company based in South Dublin. The successful candidate will be the main point of contact between users & development teams to ensure common understanding of requirements and solutions. The ideal candidate for this position will have project management experience and the ability to design and deliver business systems solutions that meet specific business needs.

Main Responsibilities:
* Supporting team to deliver service and/or manage other resources to deliver service using analysis and judgement.
* Working with business colleagues to understand their needs and opportunities.
* Devising cost-effective solutions.
* Documenting requirements and the business solution and securing signoff for them.
* Planning and leading IT delivery projects.
* Supporting the Business Systems Manager.
* Quality developments are designed and delivered to plan and customer expectations managed.
* Business system solutions are designed on time and to the technology roadmap.
* Projects are delivered to the agreed scope on time and within budget.

Experience Required:

* Experienced in using different systems analysis and design methods – methods such as SSADM and AGILE.
* Able to use appropriate methods for delivery of bespoke or package solutions.
* Experienced in using process and data modelling tools.
* Knowledge/perspective on retail applications futures and technology trends.
* Experienced in using project management tools and methodologies e.g. Prince/IT Way.
* Experience of making application decisions and working through the trade-offs.
* Lead users through project from initiation to testing and closure.
