Experience and Skills required
• Use of at least 1 industry-standard automated testing tool, ideally (but not necessarily) FitNesse.
• Proven, extensive automated software testing experience – 4 years minimum.
• Experience creating high quality, re-usable and easy to maintain automation test scripts.
• Experience working in a Java/J2EE development environment.
• Expertise in the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with the Agile development process, and associated tools.
• Be able to demonstrate rudimentary SQL skills.
• Strong communication skills as this is both an advisory and hands-on role.
• The ability to understand the business requirements of stories, and develop comprehensive
test coverage to minimise risk to the business.
Desirable but not mandatory
• Financial/ banking sector experience.
• Working with continuous integration – Jenkins, Hudson.
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with Git
