Senior ASP.NET C# Developer

[b]Job Description[/b]
The position requires a Senior Software Engineer with significant experience developing C# ASP.NET applications. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. Based in Dublin the successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working on unique Business Intelligence applications for a rapidly growing export led Irish software company.

[b]Responsibilities[/b]
– Take ownership for design, implementation and delivery of web application and server features and components
– Technical lead for web application development
– Develop robust, efficient, flexible, scalable and maintainable software to company coding standards
– Make significant contribution to the successful delivery of the product roadmap
– Work on complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative
– Deliver project documentation including design specifications
– Proactive in improving product development process, procedures and coding standards
– Perform maintenance on software product code

[b]Essential[/b]
– B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline
– Significant experience building commercial C# ASP.NET database applications (3+ years)
– Expert knowledge of C# ASP.NET – with latest .NET Framework version
– Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Development tools (Visual Studio 2010)
– Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, flexible and maintainable code
– Strong understanding of relational database design and construction
– Good knowledge & experience of large scale data processing and databases
– Experience of multi-dimensional data analysis and reporting technologies
– Experienced in working in agile development environments
– Solid understanding of project and product lifecycles and takes ownership of development projects
– Solid expertise in Object Oriented Programming
– Excellent design, analysis and problem solving abilities
