Security Engineer / Consultant

This Dublin-based consultancy specialises in providing security systems integration and consultancy, and boasts a wide range of well-known clients, across varied sectors. Due to new projects being won, there is currently an opening for an experienced and highly qualified ICT Security Specialist to work in their security practice.

You will be responsible for providing a wide range of security services to existing and new clients, the majority of whom will be Dublin-based. The types of services you will provide will include the following:

– Network and Application Security Assessment, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Services
– ICT Security Risk Assessment and Mitigation Planning
– Design and implementation of security and Compliance frameworks and management systems
– Design and Implementation if ICT Security Architecture and Solutions

In order to be considered for the role, you should possess the following skills/attributes:

– 4-5 years experience in information security
– In-depth working knowledge of TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, and associated network protocols
– Security Architecture and Security infrastructure implementations including firewalls, remote-access solutions, PKI solutions, Security Hardening of Windows, Unix and Network Devices
– Hands-on experience with Network, Host and Application Penetration testing
– Information Security Risk Assessments, Risk Management and Reporting
– Security Management, Policies, Governance Frameworks, Security Programs
– Hands-on experience with national and international information security, privacy standards and legislation (eg. ISO 27001, PCI DSS, Sarbanes Oxley)
