SAP SD Consultant

My client, a global leader in the FMCG industry, currently has a short term vacancy for an SAP SD Contractor to join its SAP project team, reporting to the SAP Supply Chain team Lead, and relevant project managers, based in Co. Kilkenny.

Key Responsibility:

This role will be responsible for the functional design, system configuration, planning and execution of a project involving the reconfiguring of an existing sales organisation structure with a specific emphasis on intercompany / cross-company functionality. The project will have a high degree of complexity as it will involve adding additional functionality and scenarios to an already functioning and mature SAP implementation.

Essential Skills/Experience:

ØExtensive experience in SAP Sales and Distribution and a strong understanding of Processes and Configuration within Sales and Distribution modules in SAP. Knowledge should include but not be limited to the following

oSales organisations structures

oPricing configuration and functionality

oOutput Procedures and Condition types

oSales Order, Delivery and Billing configuration

oIntercompany/cross company trading scenarios

oExperience of working with IDOC and ideally SAP XI/PI

oCopy Control, ATP, Incompletion procedures, rebates etc.

oAppreciation of ABAP however the role is a functional analyst and the candidate will not be expected to code.

ØPrevious exposure to Purchasing, Stock and Warehouse Management modules.

ØExperience with requirements gathering, gap analysis.

ØAbility to compile professional program specifications and liaise with the ABAP team to successfully complete any required developments.

Education and Experience:

ØAn appropriate Business / IT qualification with at least 5 years relevant experience.

ØIdeally SAP Certified in SD module on Version 4.7 or higher – (currently on
ECC 6).

ØStrong cross-functional SAP knowledge

ØFull life cycle SAP SD experience

ØExperience in addressing key business issues with IT solutions

ØAbility to display a high degree of professionalism in dealing with business managers and users
