SAP SD BUSINESS ANALYST (Contract)

Our client, a market leader, currently has a vacancy for an SAP SD Business Analyst to join its SAP Supply Chain team. This is a one year fixed term contract, but a daily rate contract may be considered.

Specific Role Requirements:

You will be working within a SAP SD configuration team with a requirement to work on a number of different projects at different phases. Projects are typically small to medium in size but quite high in terms of complexity as they will involve adding additional functionality and scenarios to an already functioning and mature SAP implementation.

Due to the maturity of the SAP system, you will need to have in-depth knowledge and experience working with SD specifically.
Ø Extensive experience in SAP Sales and Distribution and a strong understanding of Processes and Configuration within Sales and Distribution modules in SAP. Knowledge should include but not be limited to the following:
o Sales Organisation structures
o Pricing configuration and functionality
o Output Procedures and Condition types
o Sales Order, Delivery and Billing configuration
o Intercompany/cross company trading scenarios
o Experience of working with IDOC and ideally SAP XI/PI
o Copy Control, ATP, Incompletion procedures, rebates etc.
o Appreciation of ABAP however the role is a functional analyst and the candidate will not be expected to code.
Ø Previous exposure to Purchasing, Stock and Warehouse Management modules.
Ø Experience with requirements gathering and gap analysis.
Ø Ability to compile professional program specifications and liaise with the ABAP team to successfully complete any required developments.

Experience Required:

Ø An appropriate Business / IT qualification with at least 5 years relevant experience.
Ø Ideally SAP Certified in SD module on Version 4.7 or higher – (currently on ECC 6).
Ø Strong cross-functional SAP knowledge.
Ø Full life cycle SAP SD experience.
Ø Experience in addressing key business issues with IT solutions.
Ø Ability to display a high degree of professionalism in dealing with business managers and users.
Ø Any experience / knowledge ABAP (query writing / de-bugging) is a bonus.
