SAP – PP Business Analyst

Full Time Role as SAP PP BA
Hudson is now recruiting for an experienced SAP PP Business Analyst to join its systems development team, based in County Kilkenny.

This is a permanent full-time position and offers an excellent opportunity to work on SAP implementation and continuous improvement projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.
The team operates SAP R/3, BW, CRM and SEM across multiple locations across Europe and the US with a user base of almost 2000.
The deployment and continuous improvement of these platforms is driven by an in-house centre of excellence, comprising SAP-certified Business Analysts, together with a Customer Competency Centre, which provides SAP support to the user community.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Participate in relevant implementations and continuous improvement initiatives, including design, configuration, testing and implementation.
· Provide SAP expert knowledge in the functional area of Production Planning to respond to business requirements, and position potential solutions.
· Develop relationships with Business Key Users to drive the effectiveness of the SAP solution.
· Acquire knowledge of emerging functionality / solutions, and contribute to their successful implementation within the businesses where appropriate.
· Assist with the resolution of complex application support and maintenance issues where relevant.

Education and Experience
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering
• 3 year’s of SAP implementation and configuration experience
• completed at least one full implementation as SAP PP configuration consultant
• Ideally SAP Certified in PP module on Version 4.7 or higher.
• Strong cross-functional SAP knowledge
• Basic ABAP coding knowledge, while not essential would be an advantage.

Non-Technical Requirements
• Experience in addressing key business issues with IT solutions
• Displaying a high degree of professionalism in dealing with business managers and users.
• Commercially focused, high levels of enthusiasm and energy.
• Flexibility to undertake international travel where required
