Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced SAP LSMW migration specialist to join the migration team. The successful applicant should have a minimum of 3 years SAP LSMW experience including the design, development and execution of a SAP LSMW migration solution. Previous involvement in at least one SAP FI data migration project is prerequisite. A thorough understanding of SAP FI data requirements and dependencies is a must. ABAP experience is an advantage.

As an experienced developer you should be self motivated with the ability to develop and test ensuring the successful migration of legacy financial data to SAP.
Good communication skills are essential as you will be part of a reasonably large development team and liasing with the other teams will be a feature of the job.

Key Tasks

The following are the tasks that the contractor will be expected to carry out during the project.

Design and develop an SAP LSMW migration solution that includes data conversion.
Migrate Legacy FI data to SAP R3.
Develop and execute data reconciliation and volumetric reports.
Provide technical support to the functional teams producing functional specifications. While the business is responsible for producing the functional specifications, any technical issues that arise at this stage may need technical input.
Produce technical specifications to the required standard. Liase with the business if necessary to clarify any issues
Develop and unit test migration solution.

Skillset

Minimum 3 years SAP LSMW design and development experience.
Previous involvement in at least one SAP FI data migration project, including data load execution and reconciliation.
Thorough understanding of SAP FI data requirements and dependencies
