Data Analyst – Carlow – Competitive Salary

Our client is currently looking for a SAP Master Data Analyst to be based from their offices in Carlow.

The job holder will be responsible for qualification and classification of data, ensuring that all information is accurate and complete, performing on-going maintenance of records and communications.  In addition, he/she will offer recommendation to enhance workflow and increase efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain data accurate, up-to-date master data for assigned business process, ensure timely updates, eliminate duplicate/dormant files.
* Review create and change forms for accuracy and completeness, ensure the necessary approvals are obtained and perform the following :
* Search system for data accuracy to determine if the request is a duplicate.
* Ensure that the request is approved.
* Interpret requests and determine appropriate course of action or obtain additional clarification, if necessary.
* Use the global data standards to enter data into the system and when necessary country-specific and plant data standards.
* Address all client inquiries, including, but not limited to own process.
* Review and analyze reports of master data to ensure timely receipt of updates. Responsible for data integration and linking data when necessary.
* Monitor data; analyze reports and track specific activity to ensure records are synchronized.  Act to resolve all issues and discrepancies.
* Perform Change Control process which includes pre-approval, execution, evidence and post-approval activities in a timely manner.
* Assign and execute change request forms accurately and timely in accordance with SOP and SAP standards.
* Analyze data feeds and reconcile reports which are critical to daily operations

 Essential Criteria:
* Bachelor’s Degree in a business concentration (Supply Chain, Project Management, Logistics Planning, Procurement, Finance, Human Resources, and Business Planning) or equivalent required.  
* A minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience.
* Broad understanding and knowledge of applicable business processes.
* Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to details and accuracy focus.
