BUSINESS TRADING SPECIALIST – TELECOMS
This opportunity is with a global company who has broken all records in delivering products to new markets through innovative partner networks. They are a brand associated with exceptional customer service, hi-tech consumer products, and community engagement and employee development.
We now require a business trading specialist to drive the short to medium term trading performance of an ICT Services Provider by delivering strong tactical propositions, and supporting Sales teams to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
To get this job, you will have the following competencies:

Proven track record of operating in a dynamic, demanding & customer centric environment.

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a large telecommunications organisation within a proven record of deliver against targets

High degree of Commercial acumen with the ability to identify possible opportunities to drive results.

High-level understanding of mobile and internet technology and trends.

Strong quantitative analytical abilities.

Excellent leadership, communication and Interpersonal skills

Passionate about excellent Customer Experience

Ability to clearly demonstrate achievement of results in previous roles including the obstacles which were overcome.

Results based with a focus on customers

Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships at all levels within the business.

Project Management and Process Improvement experience

Facilitation & Presentation skills.

On successful hire you will:
• Manage the day to day trading performance of portfolios for both SME and Corporate. Key focus from 0 to 180 days
• Deliver base/revenue/churn and CSI targets for the Business Segments
• Manage the acquisition and retention budgets to support Sales Teams in tactical proposition and promotions to deliver all monthly and quarterly targets
• Lead Reporting on Weekly/ Monthly and Quarterly performance, including Group requirements
• Work cross functionally with various departments including Retail to ensure a robust launch process for new propositions
• Work with the Segmentation specialist to develop a deep understanding of the Business Market and identify market opportunities to drive differentiation
• Work with the ICT Team to develop revenue stimulation plans and retentions activities.
• Partner with the Marketing Strategy and Business sales team to develop a high degree of understanding regarding competitor activity and implications.
• On a monthly basis, produce well defined Segment Plans, ensuring Product & Services, Technology and Marketing plans are aligned.
• Work with business communications team to plan marketing activities within the business segment areas and co-ordinate this activity with other cross functional areas, such as on-line/sales channels.
• Address the needs of the wider stakeholders in the company, through ongoing communication and interaction of initiatives.
