QA / Tester – Mainframe (Dublin)
System Tester – Mainframe – Insurance – Dublin
Experienced System Tester with Mainframe experience required by Insurance business in Dublin for 6 month contract. Due to an increase in project workload, this prominent insurance business in Central Dublin is looking for an experienced tester with strong Mainframe experience to be responsible for testing of web-based and Mainframe systems.
You will work with colleagues in the QA team, Developers, IT, Actuarial and others to cover the full software-testing life cycle and support the delivery of necessary functionality in the products.
- Prepare Test approach document and get signed off from the stake holders
- Development and maintenance of test plans, test scripts and test processes
- Executing both manual and automated test plans for existing application
- Identifying, analysing and documenting defects in application functionality
Experience with Selenium and TDM is preferred and the environment includes: .net, IBM Mainframe, SQL Server 2008/Management Studio, XML, Cobol, JCL, CICS, Data Warehousing.
