I am currently working with one onEurope’s largest Financial & insurance companies. My client requires 2 QA testers for there Dublin city office. The role is a 6 month contract with potential for further extensions.
This is a daily rate contract paying €240 – €300 depending on experience. You must be an Irish citizen or hold a valid stamp 4 residency Visa to quality for this role.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include but will not necessarily be limited to the following:
* Design, develop, and execute reusable test cases and procedures based on relevant requirements
* Conduct performance tests
* Analyse test results, provide recommendations, assist in researching, and providing solutions to issues that may arise
* Create required test documentation including test plans and test reports where necessary
* Ensure project managers are fully informed of test status and deviations from documented requirements
* Share best practices and tools that are developed and/or discovered with your fellow Test Engineers and the team
Experience
Candidates should have over 5 years previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in a financial services environment.
Technical Competencies:
* Practical knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access to enable the production of test plans and reports
* Knowledge of Operating Systems and networking infrastructure
* HP Quality Centre
* Experience with VB & quotations systems
Non-Technical Competencies:
* Excellent customer focus, with proven project delivery experience
* Experience of working as part of a team to ensure work is completed in accordance with agreed plans, as well as working under own initiative
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Flexible, proactive and focused in all aspects of approach to work.
* Analytical and technically minded with a proven ability in problem solving.
