PROJECT/PRODUCT LEAD

The Project/Product Lead needs to be comfortable leading an outsource team of content delivery engineers in a high-pressure, dynamic and global environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

# Lead and manage an outsource digital content development team.
# Facilitate stakeholder and other resources to ensure goals and objectives of the project are met.
# Work with an interdisciplinary team that includes project managers, engineering and graphic designers.
# Very technical and technologically savvy.
# Ensuring best practices are followed in delivery of our content.
# Excellent communication abilities.
# Strong leader capable of motivating and energizing off shore engineers, as well as gaining their respect. Ability to manage multiple engineering teams, including task planning and quality reviews.
# Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and technical innovation
# Proven ability to share knowledge with team members via a formal mentoring relationship.

Skills and Experience:

Essential

# Bachelors degree or comparable industry experience
# At least 5 years proven leadership/management experience of offshore engineering teams.
# Successfully explain complex issues to non technical people
# Excellent debugging skills
# Excellent oral and written communication skills with fluency in English essential
# Ability to work under short deadlines
# Must be able to lead off shore teams of content delivery engineers on multiple projects simultaneously
# Familiarisation with the project management approach to the SDLC
# Flash, HTML, JavaScript, XML
# Flex, Air, SQL, Photoshop/InDesign experience would be a plus.
