IT Project Manager – 12 month contract
My Client, a leading private hospital based in South Dublin now has a requirement for a Project Manager. This hire is integral to strengthen my clients patient services for the 21st century with a strong focus on quality patient care. You will join a dynamic team of professionals.
The post holder must:
· Hold a relevant third level qualification and/or experience in managing projects
· Have a minimum of 3 years’ project management experience
· Possess the ability to manage multiple projects at a time
· Have experience of implementing software solutions in organisations with multi-functional teams
· Be proactive with an ability to work on their own initiative
· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
It is desirable for the post holder to have experience of implementing solutions in a Healthcare environment and a formal qualification in project management (PMP, Prince2).
Your main duties will include:
· Carry out feasibility analysis/business case definition when required
· Work with multiple internal user groups to establish requirements
· Plan, manage, control and deliver ICT projects and programmes as required
· Manage all issues associated with projects
· Manage all project risks and develop contingency plans
· Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders both in verbal and written form
· Responsible for ensuring change control processes are in place to manage project scope
· Specify and procure systems following defined procurement process
· Ensure all solutions are tested and acceptance testing is completed and signed off before implementation
· Liaise with vendors and manage their contracts to successful delivery of project
· Train users and staff
· Support users on go live of project(s)
· Carry out post implementation reviews ensuring maximum benefits have been achieved
