Project Lead (Firmware)

Our client is a widely recognised, leading blue chip global engineering company.​

Due to further expansion in N.Ireland and to support their growing Research and Development Engineering team we are currently searching for a Project Lead (Firmware)

This is an opportunity to make a safe and secure move into a company with head room for fast track progression.

In this role the successful candidate should expect to;

Own definition of requirements, development and testing for new product development and incremental product releases.

Will be leading all projects leveraging internal and external resources to deliver products meeting customer needs, with excellent quality and on time. Involved in all facets of development

Essential Duties:

• Develops requirements and plans for new products
• Plan and execute all aspects of project from end to end.
• Responsible for quality, meeting customer needs and on time delivery of project
• Develops product to meet customer and business goals
• Interface with key suppliers to integrate their products & parts into our products.
* Drives continuous improvement in testing and automation
* Supports development team and provides needed pre-qualification and verification testing.
• Ensure compliance to all regulatory needs for the product and business

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Masters in Engineering Electrical/Electronic
• Candidate must have a minimum of 5-7 years in Project execution, Product development and validation experience
• Development of firmware, electronic board layouts and end to end product development experience.
