Responsibilities:
* Liaise with the customer first line support staff on a daily basis
* Logging, tracking and reporting of issues
* Work closely with the development team to track and resolve bugs
* Troubleshoot database issues and work with Oracle DBA to resolve
* Deployment of Software fixes
* Unix scripting
* Logging and Tracking of Issues
* Working with development and support team to resolve issues.
* Deploying and Testing Maintenance Release
* Providing reports to Customer and Support Manager
* Managing Customer Issues through complete issue lifecycle
* Troubleshooting & Resolving Customer Issues
* Administration of Application and supporting systems
* Deploying Maintenance Releases and Patches
Requirements:
* Excellent knowledge of Solaris & SQL
* Good UNIX scripting and configuration skills.
* Good Knowledge of Oracle 10.
* Java Experience an advantage
* Troubleshooting and data analysis skills
* Excellent communication skills and professional manner
* Telecoms experience an advantage
* Business Objects an advantage
* Some travel required to customer sites
