Principal Test Engineer
My client is a very exciting, high-growth software company which provides software solutions to the global financial markets. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Testing Engineer as a result of continued demand for their product.
You will join a motivated team of QA Engineers which delivers exciting, innovative automated testing solutions to assess and verify the performance and accuracy of company products.
You will ideally have 8 or more years of commercial automated testing experience. You will have excellent troubleshooting skills and a knowledge of complex networking deployment models.
What you will need for this role:
* Knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies: TCP/IP, VoIP, SIP, MGCP, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, Trunking, PPP
* Experience testing software products
* Experience with Wireshark and Tcpdump, TcpReplay
* Scripting experience: Python, Shell, Bash, Perl
* 3 years experience packet analysis experience
* Unix experience would be a plus
A Bachelors degree in an IT-related degree would be a required qualification for this role.
