Working in a large high profile retail bank, an opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to run the Programme Management Office. The Project Manager is responsible the effective operation of the PMO.
Principal Accountabilities:
Manage the Programme Office
Ensure the Project Managers on the project are adhering to the PMO framework.
Manage a weekly review of the Risk, Assumption, Issues and Dependencies and report new entries to the project programme managers and Programme Director.
Manage the schedule for all Executive Governance and Programme Steering meetings.
Ensure the minutes and actions for all Governance meetings are captured accurately and followed up with action owners and project managers
Track the finance and expenditure on the programme with the programme director.
Report on any major milestones that are at risk and require intervention.
Manage the project repository SharePoint site and ensure that all project documentation is stored on the SharePoint site.
Assist the Programme Manager report on resource utilisation for the programme.
Manage the collation of inputs for the Steering Committee meetings.
The successful candidate will manage the Project Management Office. Manage the meeting schedules and ensure deadlines for reporting are adhered to
