Software Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Software Engineer for a 6 month contract.

Position Description and Responsibilities

– Debug code using test and live equipment
– Debug code developed by others
– Develop code from FDS, DDS
– Develop URS, FDS, DDS documentation
– Critique Vendor code development
– Organize and prioritize multiple tasks for self and others
– Lead small group of software engineers and/or work alone
– Develop and operate projects based on SDLC, GAMP or equivalent project development life cycle
– Fault-find complex equipment
– Deliver work to schedules
– Develop and manage own project schedule
– Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of work
The ideal candidate will have:

– Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent
– Ten years relevant experience with full understanding of GAMP lifecycles.
– Strong PLC programming experience preferably with APT, Allen Bradley or equivalent
– Ability to work with multiple disciplines such as IT, Validation, Operations
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to organize, plan and execute multiple tasks to a schedule
– Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to complete tasks within timeframes and budgets.
– Ability to document own work clearly, precisely and efficiently
– Strong communicator
– Develop, debug and validate Control System software programs
