Oracle /SQL DBA, Cork, 3-6 months
One of our Blue Chip IT clients is looking for three Oracle and MS SQL DBAs for their office in Cork for 3-6 months contract.
Skills required:
1. Basic Oracle and MS SQL DBA experience
2. Basic Unix, Windows, SAN storage, TSM knowledge
3. Basic experience of operational tasks, dealing with hardware support calls, logging calls, monitoring alerts, monitoring batch schedule etc
4. Data Centre Mgt (Air-con, UPS, Fire Supression, Tapes etc)
5. Will be part of the on-call team, in a pool of 3 people (i.e. on call every 3 weeks).
7. On-site at Customer location, and flexible/professional – act as the face of IT for customer
8. Some travel – regular visits between customer sites, but also potentially to UK to help out with tasks
