Our Technology Services client is looking for a junior to Mid-level Oracle / MSSQL DBA to join their friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all their customer databases.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working with both Oracle and MS SQL Databases however candidates who has good skills working with one particular database environment and has awareness with the other may also be considered.

Main responsibilities will include:

* Database monitoring
* Troubleshooting
* Performance tuning
* High-availability strategies in production environments including installation, upgrades & patching.

Required abilities:
* Support Oracle 91, 10g and 11g Databases.
* Support MSSQL 2000, 2005 & 2008 Databases.
* Database backup/recovery, space management and troubleshooting
* Knowledge of backup/recovery concepts, particularly in a Windows environment
* Strong verbal/written communication skills along with a customer focused attitude and ability to deal with our clients.
* Must be a good team player and be flexible with work arrangements.
EDUCATION :

* University level education in Information Technology
* Must have minimum of 1-5 years’ experience working as a Database Administrator
* Willing to undertake MSSQL & Oracle certification.
