Are you an experienced Oracle business analyst with excellent knowledge of Oracle Financials, Order Management and e-Business? Do you have experience of the software development life cycle and a demonstrable track record of managing small to medium sized projects? If so, read on.
Our client is an established IT services company. As part of their expansion plans, an exciting opportunity for a number of Oracle e-Business Analysts to join their consultancy managed services practice.

As an Oracle e-Business Analyst, you will join the new Oracle e-Business Suite Centre of Excellence team. Providing day-to-day support and quality assurance for projects and tasks, you will support applications in areas such as finance, order management and HR.
Providing hands-on analysis, design, testing, implementation and post-implementation support, you will also
manage project delivery and business expectations. Ensuring internal customer satisfaction, you’ll assist in defining and optimising effective business processes and driving change through consensus building.
As part of this role, you may occasionally be required to travel to customer sites across the UK and further afield.
Your other duties will include:
– Gathering and documenting business requirements on IT projects
– Configuring applications based on requirements from business partners and best practices
– Ensuring ERP initiatives follow the proper planning, scheduling and management processes
– Building test cases and managing user acceptance tests
– Promoting user adoption by preparing training documentation and conducting training sessions
To be considered for this role, you must have:
– Experience gained in an Oracle business analyst role
– Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials, Order Management and e-Business
– Solid experience of running and managing small to mid-sized projects
– Experience of using software development life cycle processes and methodologies
– A degree in a relevant IT discipline such as computer science
As an Oracle e-Business Analyst, you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment is important.
Knowledge of Oracle R12 modules would be an advantage to your application, but by no means essential. Experience gained within a consultancy role would also be beneficial.
