Based on Experience
Oracle DBA Specialist; the role would require travel and is for a minimum 3 months. See spec below.
The Functional Oracle DB Expert should have the following Profile, skills:
– Physical Datamodel and SQL knowledge (Oracle): Support + creation of complex SQL queries.
– Senior Oracle-DBA knowledge, ability to monitor systems and recommend SQL and DBA practices.
– Ability to monitor database, generate + interpret AWR-reports, use of OEM or similar tools (lab128).
– Knowledge of Oracle replication, notably Streams.
– Interfacing and data-management (DataPower, Diebank, machine-interfaces)
– Awareness of Clustered Database (Oracle-RAC) and clusterware.
– Basic Unix/Linux skills (at or near Oracle/unix-DBA level).
– Understanding of corporate
– English language – Fluently.
– Ability to work in Global team, ability to Travel.
Nice to have knowledge/skills:
– Business Objects knowledge, awareness.
– Camstar knowledge.
– Windows admin experience.
– Networking (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN) experience.
– Languages: Chinese, Malay.
