Oracle DBA required for Galway based Multinational
The Oracle DBA will take the lead in one or several domains to support the IT projects and/or to the operations.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Infrastructure Manager and the relevant teams to support the projects according to his/her expertise.
In his/her domain of expertise: Help the project teams to clarify the technical requirements and validate the relevant architecture.
Propose the relevant processes and procedures to implement to support effectively the projects.
Ensure the consistency of the infrastructure (Standards, Security, Green IT,…) in his/her perimeter.
Lead the technical activities in some projects to propose the relevant architecture or to ensure reliable and stable operations.
Focus on continuous process improvement.
Mentor and develop less technical staff
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree – In Computer Science and Engineering.
More than 5 years
Unix platform for Oracle database and Oracle applications.
EMC storage
Remedy for change management, alerts, etc.
Project Management experience
