Oracle Data Warehouse Architect for realTime Recruitment

realTime is seeking an Oracle Data Warehouse Architect for a major client in Limerick. You should have 6 years Oracle (OWB, OBIEE) experience and have come through the full development route.

You should have at least 2 years Architecture experience and be confident in leading the Data Warehouse Data Modeller team on design.

The role involves:

• Architect the design of the logical and physical data model for key Data Initiatives.
• Define and refine the overall data warehouse architecture (e.g. ETL process, ODS, EDW , Data Marts)
• Direct the Meta data standards.
• Define and direct the implementation of security requirements for the data warehouse.
• Design and direct the information access and delivery effort for the data warehouse.
• Define the technical requirements and data architectures for the data warehouse.
• Define Physical Architecture, server and storage, to support technical and SDLC requirements.
• Ensure effective implementation of all design aspects through proactive engagement and communication and with internal and external development staff

– Travel is a feature of this role.

Essential:
• 5-10 years experience in Oracle Data Warehousing and Data Mart Technologies
• BS/MS in Engineering, IT or Computer Science

Desirable:
• Strong data modelling skills (normalised and multidimensional).
• Significant experience with the design, development and implementation of Enterprise level data systems.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for delivery of client requirements
• Proven analytical skills
• Strong negotiation, presentation, facilitation & communication skills
