We are a world leading finance services multinational company listed on the Fortune 500. We have an immediate requirement for an Oracle Data Modeller/Architect. This is a permanent role based full time on site, with a very attractive salary (circa 80K) for the right candidate.

Role:
This is a senior high profile role focused on a major international data warehousing project based on the Oracle platform. The job holder will architect the design of the logical and physical data model for this project and will design, model and implement the conceptual, logical and physical models for both structured and unstructured information. You will define and refine the overall data warehouse architecture (e.g. ETL process, ODS, EDW , Data Marts) and you will direct the data warehouse meta data standards. Your remit will include directing the implementation of security requirements for the data warehouse, designing and directing the information access and delivery effort for the data warehouse and defining the technical requirements and data architectures for the data warehouse. You will ensure effective implementation of all design aspects through proactive engagement and communication and with internal and external development staff
Candidate profile:
• Deep background in data warehousing (5-10 years experience) in Oracle Data Mart and Warehousing Technologies (OWB, OBIEE).
• Strong data modelling skills (normalised and multidimensional).
• Significant experience with the design, development and implementation of Enterprise level data systems.
• In addition, any background in either the insurance sector, and /or any experience of Solvency II requirements and their implementation from a data and systems perspective, would be highly desirable.
