ORACLE CONSULTANT PL/SQL DEVELOPER

Oracle Database Developer, 6 months contract

One of our Global IT Companies is looking for Oracle Database Developer. You will be assisting with database design and implementation, development and maintenance, provide provision of support for data analysis and data-driven decision making, completing assigned tasks related to phases of development lifecycle within given scope and timeframe requirements, developing customised reports using Oracle Reports, mentoring and facilitating skills transfer to other team members.

Main Requirements:

– Experience in Oracle database design & implementation of logical and physical data model,
– In-depth experience of using SQL & PL/SQL
– Oracle Built-in Packages
– Application tuning
– Packages , Procedures, functions, views and triggers,
– Experience in maintaining and building a large scale database in a development environment,
– Experience of Oracle Reports
– Experience in Oracle query optimisation using cost based optimiser,
– Experience of running and interpreting explain plans,
– Knowledge and understanding of context and composite indices,
– Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written and experience in producing well-written and well-presented documentation in the English language.

Nice to have:
– Experience of working effectively within a team and good communication skills,
– Schema management in a multi-development environment,
– Experience of source control using Microsoft VSS,
– Understanding / experience in Java, J2EE,
– Experience in Oracle Designer,
– Knowledge of parallel DML,
– Experience of delivering products using Oracle Intermedia.
