We are a world leading finance services multinational company listed on the Fortune 500. We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Oracle Analyst/Programmer for a 6 mth contract.
Role:
New developments and enhancements to the current enterprise application using Oracle technologies, mainly PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports, in Oracle 10g environment. This role will involve resolving day to day production related issues, and will include translating business requirements into solutions. Working closely with the development team you will also be involved in configuring the application and you will be helping to create a learning environment where everyone within the team grows and develops. Equally you will seek to expand your own role by identifying and driving improvements to the current processes and new development work.

Candidate profile:
Educated to degree level, the ideal candidate will have strong business analysis and systems
You are a team play, willing to share knowledge and you have excellent communication skills. You have a proven track record of developing applications using Oracle tools (SQL and PL/SQL). If you are Oracle certified in 9i/10g that would be great. Knowledge of Oracle Forms 9i, Oracle Reports, Oracle 10g would be highly desirable. In addition, experience of Oracle performance tuning, and/or prior experience of XML, SOAP and Java would be ideal.
