Senior Manager, Operational Excellence, Larne, £50k – £60k

Responsibilities of the role:

My client is recruiting for a Senior Manager for their Operational Excellence programme and the structure that promotes generation, alignment, prioritization, monitoring and execution of initiatives that improve business processes across the organisation through the utilisation of harmonised continuous improvement tools and techniques.

This position supports the site in defining business improvement strategies and their execution, from concept through implementation, acting as a change agent to instil a continuous improvement culture, primarily concerned with leading activities towards the improvement of quality, health and safety, productivity and throughput.

Purpose:

The purpose of this job is to partner with and report to Senior Management to drive process excellence and discipline throughout all operations (manufacturing operations, pharmaceutical development, quality and support services) using Lean and Six Sigma process methodologies.

Duties:

* Lean/6 Sigma Process and operational Excellence
* Champion Quality, Lean 5S and 6 sigma methodologies
* Devise and implement the Lean Six sigma strategy
* Continuous improvement and 6 sigma projects
* Leverage process mapping, lean and statistical tools when appropriate to solve business issues, drive cost savings and cycle time reductions
* Encourage DMAIC (design, measure, analyse, improve and control) thinking when problem solving
* Identify and validate saving opportunities
* Drive quality goals and support Operational Excellence team initiatives
* Devise KPI’s
* Drive Process Improvements
* Mentor green and yellow belts
* Comply with Quality Systems and Culture
