Are you an Apple-centric support tech ready for an exciting and challenging new role?
Do you have experience in a support environment while also working with critical back-end system administration? We are expanding quickly and need a critical IT specialist for our Dublin office.
In this role you will provide agile end-user support in an all-Mac (and iPhone) facility. You will be responsible for day-to-day support of our laptops, desktops, printers, and server infrastructure. You will support Microsoft Office and iWork products, as well as various web-based applications such as Google Apps. You will be the first point of contact for local end user support. On-call, after-hours support will be required on occasion.
The right candidate will bring ingenuity, creativity, and considerable knowledge — and apply all of these in her/his own unique way.
Responsibilities:
· Provide first level support for computer and mobile device issues; escalate complex problems to the appropriate groups or staff
· Configure and install IT hardware, including laptops, peripherals, and network equipment
· Install, configure, and troubleshoot software packages, including operating systems, desktop software, and custom applications
· Configure and support mobile devices
· Maintain accurate inventories of software and hardware assets
· Use a ticketing system to track and maintain high level of service and support
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience providing desktop support to a substantially Mac-based operation
· Demonstrated experience troubleshooting Mac OS X
· Hands-on experience in troubleshooting email issues and a solid understanding of email/calendar clients and Google Apps
· Familiarity with a VoIP telephony environment.
· Familiarity with The Casper Suite and CrashPlan Pro
· Ability to configure end user smartphones
· Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
