My client is a leader in their niche field, based in Dublin city centre. Currently they have an opening for a highly autonomous Network Manager to join their small team. A spin-off from a global giant, this company is financially well-backed but has the atmosphere of a start-up.
Your role as Network Manager is to analyse, design, install, configure, maintain and repair network infrastructure. You will be working in a very fast-paced team environment where your decisions will make a huge impact.
Responsibilities include: configuration and setup of an environment to include Firewalls, Load Balancers, Switches, Security appliances, network monitoring systems to support multiple vendors.
Skills Needed:
* CCNA/CCNP qualification
* Minimum of 5 years similar experience, 10 years in IT overall
* Strong knowledge of IP networking protocols
* SMTP experience
* F5 experience would be highly desirable but a good level of Cisco knowledge will suffice, specifically in 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx.
* Network analysis experience
* TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DS3, DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3,VLANs/STP, LDP, HTTPS, HSRP/GLBP experience
* HP Switching beneficial
