Network Support Analyst
An opportuniy has arisen for a Network Support Analyst in the West of Cork. The successful candidate will install, configure, and support the LANs, remote users, and Internet systems. Maintain network and workstation/Laptop hardware and software. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. Monitor network security measures, maintain routine backups, monitor backup logs and server event logs.
Skills Required:
Considerable network system design and development methods and techniques.
Extensive knowledge of computer network system protocols.
Good knowledge of IP addressing and TCP/IP networking
Strong knowledge of network management practices and procedures
Strong knowledge of storage area networks and virtualization.
Formal qualification in IT Systems / Networks together with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in a similar environment.
