NETWORK ENGINEER LIMERICK
Vacancy Overview
Our Client is a Limerick based multi-national and they currently have a requirement for a Network Engineer to join their team.
Overview of the responsibilities of the Senior Network Engineer:
* Manage a large number of Pre and Post-sales support requests
* Reproduce complex customer environments
* Analyse LAN troubleshooting/installation policies and procedures
* Other ad hoc duties as required
Candidate Profile
Background
* IT/Computer Science Degree
* Network Certification in CCNA / CCNP
* Possess at least 3 – 5 years experience in an SMB or ISP network management role
Technical Knowledge
* In-depth working knowledge of networking fundamentals and trotocols including TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, FTP and SMTP
* Experience working with Linux, Windows, VMWare and Hyper-V operating systems
* Working knowledge of Windows and Linux web servers
Traits
* Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities
* Willingness to adapt and learn
* Positive attitude and strong work ethics, ability to multi task is a must.
