Our Client is a Limerick based Company and they currently have a requirement for a Network Engineer. This position will be responsible for network / system administration and installation.
Overview of the responsibilities of the Network Engineer:
* Working as part of a support team this position will be responsible for the installation and support of clients networks and data storage.
* Other ad hoc duties as required
Candidate Profile
Background
* IT/Computer Science Degree
* Certification in CCNA, MCSE and VMWare
* Possess at least 2 years experience in an Network Engineering position
Technical Knowledge
* In-depth working knowledge of networking fundamentals and trotocols including TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, FTP and SMTP
* Experience of installation and maintance of data storage solutions
* Experience working with Unix, Linux and Windows
* Experience of Shell Scripting
Traits
* Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities
* Willingness to adapt and learn
* Positive attitude and strong work ethics, ability to multi task is a must
