.NET DEVELOPER-MAPPING & MAINSTREAM TECHNOLOGIES

As an active information management and mapping technologies company, we seek to recruit another excellent developer to join our Dublin based team. You will have proven skills and industry experience. You will have the opportunity to interact with a strong team and will actively develop both your technology and leadership skills.

Skills Requirements:
• Excellence in C# coding and SQL.
• Excellence in SQL Server 2005, 2008
• Web development skills including ASP.Net, Ajax, ideally Silverlight.
• Strong skills in data model design skills using UML, Visio.
• Knowledge of optimal database design for performance.
• Ideally a knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services, and potentially Analysis Services.
• Ideally GIS exposure focussed on data management including geodatabases, and geographical data types. GIS product primarily used are ESRI ArcGIS Server, Open Source, Mapinfo / MapBasic.
• Ideally product development and release management experience.

Approach to Work:
• You absolutely must be a leader with a capacity to undertake client liaison, requirements analysis, reporting. Initiative is critical.
• You should have a drivers licence, access to a car, and be willing to undertake occasional visits to client sites.
• You must engage enthusiastically with your job and undertake learning.

Conditions:
• Salary negotiable. €40k-€55k per annum guideline.
